Microsoft’s Chairman and CEO, Satya Nadella, will share how this new generation of AI is reshaping how people live and work everywhere, including in the region.

Satya Nadella is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held leadership roles in both enterprise and consumer businesses across the company.Joining Microsoft in 1992, he quickly became known as a leader who could span a breadth of technologies and businesses to transform some of Microsoft’s biggest product offerings.
Most recently, Nadella was executive vice president of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group. In this role he led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and services business, which outperformed the market and took share from competition. Previously, Nadella led R&D for the Online Services Division and was vice president of the Microsoft Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, Nadella lives in Bellevue, Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mangalore University, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Nadella serves on the board of trustees to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and his alma mater the University of Chicago, as well as the Starbucks board of directors. He is married and has three children.

Puneet Chandok is President, Microsoft India & South Asia and is responsible for Microsoft’s overall presence and business in the area. He leads the company’s digital transformation in the era of AI and intelligent cloud.

Rajiv Kumar is Managing Director and President of the Microsoft India Development Center (IDC) and Corporate Vice President of the Experiences and Devices (E+D) India Group.
Under Rajiv's leadership, IDC has become one of Microsoft's largest development centers globally. He leads large teams dedicated to reinventing productivity and collaboration through AI and intelligent cloud solutions, addressing some of the most pressing business and societal challenges. Over his 30-year career at Microsoft, spanning both the US and India, Rajiv has made significant contributions to landmark products (such as Compiler, SharePoint, MS Office) across productivity suites, developer tools, distributed systems, and consumer applications, positively impacting billions of people worldwide.
Rajiv envisions IDC as a hub of innovation, driving India's global AI leadership. He is deeply committed to creating inclusive technology that addresses planet-scale challenges and aligns with Microsoft's mission to empower every person and organization worldwide to achieve more.

Charumathy Srinivasan
Corporate Vice President of Engineering, Azure Core and Cloud and AI IDC Site Leader
Charu leads the Azure Core Engineering organization for Compute and Cloud Native technologies driving impact across Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, System Center, and Azure Arc. Charu has been at the forefront of advancements in cloud computing, database replication, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud management. Her work emphasizes privacy, data security, and trustworthy computing, positioning Microsoft’s Zero Trust platform as a leader in safeguarding data in an increasingly AI-first landscape. Charu is a passionate advocate for making technology, especially AI, accessible to everyone.
Charu is also the site leader for the Cloud + AI organization in the India Development Center (IDC) and an active member of India and IDC leadership teams leading various organization-wide initiatives such as innovation excellence, diversity & inclusion, and building the next gen of leaders. As a thought leader in technology and innovation, Charu represents Microsoft in several industry and government-led forums. She is a member of the G20 Empower working group on Women in STEM and FICCI Science, Technology, and Innovation (ST&I) committee. She is also a Board member on the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Committee on Technology and helped create the founding vision for CII’s Centre of Excellence on Digital Transformation.
