Scott Guthrie
Executive Vice President Cloud + AI Group
As executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud + AI Group, Scott Guthrie is responsible for Microsoft’s cloud computing fabric, artificial intelligence platform, and the company’s industry cloud solutions. This spans products and services such as Microsoft Azure, the global cloud computing platform; Azure AI, a portfolio of services for developers and data scientists backed by Microsoft's responsible AI principles; the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, a comprehensive offering for databases, analytics, and data governance; and Microsoft Business Applications, including the automated business process capabilities of Dynamics 365 and low-code/no-code tools in the Power Platform. It also includes a rich set of developer tools with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and GitHub; AI solutions for healthcare, customer engagement, and productivity from Nuance; core commerce capabilities and infrastructure; and compliance solutions across the Microsoft Cloud.

Brett Ostrum
Corporate Vice President, Surface
Microsoft Responsibilities / Contributions - Brett Ostrum is Corporate Vice President, responsible for Surface. Prior to this, Brett led Surface Hardware Development and Program Management after being one of the founding members of the Surface business at Microsoft.
Brett joined Microsoft in 1997 and spent the first 13 years at Microsoft in the PC Hardware business. During that time, he progressed through several roles and was the General Manager responsible for end to end, worldwide business of PC Hardware, Mouse, Keyboards, and Webcams including Product Development & Marketing.
Pre-Microsoft Work Experience – Prior to joining Microsoft, Brett worked at Fluke Manufacturing in several Engineering roles associated with the Digital Multi-Meter business group. The roles included development and test associated with custom silicon development.
Education - Brett graduated with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1993.
Family/Other Interests – Brett is married and loves spending time with his kids and playing golf.

Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Engineering
Leigh-Ann Russell is Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Engineering. She is also a member of the BNY Executive Committee.
Prior to joining BNY, Leigh-Ann was a member of BP’s Executive Committee, reporting to the CEO. As Executive Vice President, Innovation & Engineering at BP, her role covered Chief Scientist, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Digital Officer. Prior to that role, Leigh-Ann was BP’s Chief Procurement Officer, where she was accountable for its safe, ethical and competitive supply chain.
Leigh-Ann’s career is based in engineering and operations. Her previous roles have included Engineering Manager and Operations Manager and Vice President of Technical Functions, where she led the Process Safety, Engineering and Operations discipline at BP.
Leigh-Ann earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, is a chartered engineer and has been recognized with Fellowships of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Ene.
